Q: Will there be any breaks to return calls and emails?
A: Yes, there will be a designated break in the afternoon session on Friday and of course at lunch. Being a holiday and knowing that you prepared your clients and referral partners about your out-of-the-office schedule in advance, we don’t anticipate you won’t have many messages to deal with.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Business casual is appropriate. There will be a lot of photographs and video at the conference, so dress for the part!
Q: What is the dress code for the dinner and entertainment on Friday night?
A: Business casual is appropriate.
Q: When do I change clothes and freshen up between the Conference and the Friday night dinner?
A: After the Conference there is a Happy Hour next to the ballroom until 8:00. You should change and freshen up sometime during the Happy Hour period.
Q: Can I bring my “significant other” to the Conference?
A: While you’re welcome to have your SO travel with you to Portland, none of the conference events have capacity to handle guests.
Q: Where can I get information on restaurants and bars near the hotel?
A: The Hilton Concierge desk will have walking maps of Portland.
Q: What are the costs of parking downtown.
A: The hotel provides valet parking only. They charge $47 as a daily maximum and for overnight registered guests. For more parking options please view this document.
Q: Will LoanStar reimburse me for my parking charges?
A: LoanStar will reimburse you for a parking charges up to $18 per day.
Q: Does the Hilton hotel have in and out privileges for parking?
A: For overnight guests, yes. If they are only here for the day they’ll be charged each time they go, but it will be just for the number of hours they parked, not the full $47.
