Rob Chrisman

Rob Chrisman

Public Speaker, Author

Rob Chrisman began his career in mortgage banking - primarily capital markets - 31 years ago in 1985 with First California Mortgage, assisting in Secondary Marketing until 1988, when he joined Tuttle & Co., a leading mortgage pipeline risk management firm. He was an account manager and partner at Tuttle & Co. until 1996, when he moved to Scotland with his family for 9 months.

Ken Perry

President & CEO, The Knowledge Coop

Ken was born and raised in Concord, CA where he graduated high school at Clayton Valley High. While in California he worked 3 years at the Concord Police Department and played drums in many bands. Married in 1995, Ken and his bride Mindy moved to Denver, Colorado where she got her Masters degree while Ken got his Bachelors in Speech Communication.

In 2000, Ken transferred to the Pacific Northwest to take a sales job with a major wholesale lender. That allowed him the opportunity to call on originators throughout the Portland market. He found himself saddened by the lack of training for originators, so in 2003 he left a high paying job and started Broker Knowledge Group with his Mother-in-Law, Pam. In September of that year, he was invited to speak at a conference, and that led to more and more speaking gigs throughout the country. In 2005, he became the first private company to be approved to teach live continuing education classes in Oregon. With the passage of the SAFE Act in 2008, these continuing education classes became required in every state. Broker Knowledge Group was one of the first providers approved, and the company took off like wild fire.

In December 2011, Ken attended a technology conference in Vegas that changed his life and rewrote the future of his business. In 2012, with the guidance of his business partner Frank, a partnership with two amazing men named Dan and Larry, a spectacular sales director named Gwen, an organizational wizard named Yvonne, and of course, his very special mother-in-law Pam, Ken launched The Knowledge Coop®, a social learning system that allows companies to upload and assign documents, videos and notes and grow their companies through collaboration and education. This is Ken’s third cutting edge web innovation, and the one for which he is most proud.

Ken lives in Camas, WA with his wife of 18 years, and the most amazing three kids you could ever meet!

Q: Will there be any breaks to return calls and emails?

A: Business casual is appropriate. There will be a lot of photographs and video at the conference, so dress for the part!

Q: What is the dress code for the Third Anniversary Party on Friday Night?
A: Business casual or better is appropriate. Many are “dressing to the nine’s” for the casino themed party that will celebrate LoanStar’s Third Anniversary!

Q: When do I change clothes and freshen up between the Conference and the Third Anniversary Party?
A: After the Conference there is a Happy Hour next to the ballroom until 7:30. You should change and freshen up sometime during the Happy Hour period.

Q: Does the Third Anniversary Party have dinner and drinks?
A: Yes, a full-course dinner buffet will be served and you will be provided with drink tickets. There will also be a cash bar at the party.

Q: Can I bring my “significant other” to the Conference?
A: Yes, to the Third Anniversary Party on Friday evening, “SO’s” are welcome! The other conference events don’t have capacity to handle guests.
